Join The Vesper Club

In this location since 1941, we continue to cater to the corporate client, with private rooms for meetings, awards ceremonies, retirement parties or private dinners. We also cater to the private sector rehearsal dinners, wedding receptions, family reunions or social get together. Members never pay a room charge.

The benefits you will enjoy as a member of the Vesper Club are many: probably the most important one is the recognition by our staff when you dine at the club. Unlike other center city restaurants where you are just a "number", we strive to know all of our members by name and remember the likes and dislikes of each.

Our house-charging program is another important reason to join. Each month your statement conveniently itemizes your expenditures to make for easy expense reporting (keeping in mind that any member with charges over 90 day will have house charging privileges revoked).

Tickets to the best shows in town are another benefit. We are conveniently located near the theaters and offer-discounted tickets to all shows. When going to a show we discount parking at the Park America Garage on 15th Street just over Walnut or the Latimer Garage just over Locust St.

Throughout the year we have "specialty dinners" usually a theme dinner at a great price. These dinners are always a lot of fun, especially with large groups of friends. Gift certificates are sent out periodically to show our appreciation.

The Lounge at the Vesper Club

The Vesper Club is Philadelphia's oldest and most prestigious private dining club. We are centrally located in the heart of center city. The Vesper Club was established in 1901 as a private club to circumvent the old Quaker "blue laws" which forbid serving alcohol on Sundays and Election Day.
